18+ LEAGUE KICKS OFF ON A BEAUTIFUL DAY FOR BASEBALL!
Wow, what an absolutely perfect day for baseball!…as Ernie Banks would say: Let’s play two! Here a few points to remember:
1) Welcome back the Umpires as we are glad to have the RDUA back as a partner this year!
2) Remember your rakes and spare bases
3) Leave the fields in better shape than when you arrived
4) We have confirmed all the fields with their rightful “owners” so in case you run into a wayward Dad/Coach, be diplomatic but be firm that you are where you are supposed to be!
5) Use common sense when problem-solving, no need to call us when you guys can handle things at the game site
And finally, remember that this is adult, amateur baseball, the scouts stayed in bed today and we are all just out there to play the great game of baseball!
